Welcome to
JackoPoles.com.
Replacing the age-old "walking stick", the Jacko line of Hiking and Trekking poles are constructed from aerospace aluminum alloys in seamless tubing. The "new-age walking sticks" also feature ergonomic grips, spring-loaded Anti-Shock systems (on selected models), and are fully corrosion resistant. Poles are telescopic and quickly adjust to proper length for comfort.
Jacko offers a variety of models designed specifically for trekking, hiking or walking. These poles are becoming very popular as users recognize the benefits of reduced stress to the knees and lower back. Poles provide a more upright posture for more efficient breathing, while increasing endurance and range. Poles add safety and support regardless of whether user is on a serious Mountain climb or a casual walk around the block.
Jacko Poles also feature the convenience of telescopic sections for easy storage and transport. Proven Sur-Lok mechanism makes adjustment a breeze.
All poles carry a One Year Materials/Workmanship Warranty from date of purchase. Full parts and warranty service available through jackopoles-service@aol.com.

Dear Jacko Poles,
I went to the Himalayas and am back so I thought I would report my little adventure to you. The poles were essential to the trip....period. Some of the Sherpa porters snickered at me and my poles (they use any stick available) but I am not a mountain goat like they are. Nor have I lived at altitude all my life as they do. All the trekkers had something; either one or two poles (even if
they were not Jacko Poles. All I can say is that they did everything they
were designed to do and never failed once. The trail this year was the most difficult the organizers ever did.
Glaciers, boulders, glacial moraine which would disappear from underfoot when wet.
The poles gave me and my son good footing at all times and without any trouble.
My knees failed me on the trek and I had to withdraw at 11,020 feet and climb out of the mountains with 2 porters and guides. It was a grueling hike out because my legs wouldn¹t work right. I was laid up for days when I finally got down.
That part was very disappointing. My son continued and
summited at 18,000+ ft. Couldn't go any higher because of the condition of
the trail. That is a thumbnail of my first mountain trek. If I get the
legs in condition, I will do it again. I have a lot trails waiting for
me.... I am only 69 (almost 70). The boulders scraped some of the finish
off on the poles but did not hurt the performance.
Thought you would like to know since you were so helpful in putting good equipment in my hands. Thanks, Joe Scandariato - NJ
